Danniel is the partner responsible for the Intellectual Property, Advertising Law and Tecnolpractices of the firm, with experience acquired in the advisory of national and foreign companies from various areas of the industry, in matters related to trademark protection, copyright, software and licensing.
With experience acquired in renowned national offices, Danniel has expertise in IP administrative procedures before the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI), as well as in judicial and extrajudicial demands related to Intellectual Property.
He advises advertising agencies and conducts joint work with the marketing areas of large companies in structuring advertising campaigns and commercial promotions.
In 2017 Danniel participated in the Advanced Summer School in Intellectual Property and Transfer Technology promoted by WIPO (OMPI) in Cape Town, South Africa, on which occasion he had contact with the main South African intellectual property offices.
In 2019 he concluded the LL.C course in Business Law at Insper in São Paulo, one of the most renowned business schools in Brazil, on which occasion his course conclusion article (in which he addressed the paradigm changes in property from the perspective of intellectual property and internet of things) was chosen to integrate the book “Applied Studies in Business Law”, released by Editora Almedina in partnership with Insper.
Since 2017, Danniel has been a member of the Committee of Young Practitioners of the International Trademark Association (INTA), in which he assists in structuring and promoting events on Intellectual Property throughout the year and in several countries.
As Head of the IP practice, Danniel and the team already received recognition by Leaders League for legal services with Copyrights (2018 e 2019), Technology (2017 e 2018), and Trademark Prosecution (2021 e 2022).
In 2020 Danniel, together with Felipe, opened the Research and Innovation area of the firm, being responsible for all its matters, whose aim is the study of social issues related to diversity and inclusion, as well as new technologies.
