Master of Labor Law from PUC-SP, with extensive specializations in procedural, labor, and social security law, he leads the labor, social security, and litigation practices at BVA.

In 2024, Leonardo was recognized by Chambers in Band 1.

In the labor field, he represents both domestic and international clients in matters related to individual and collective labor law, offering both consultative and litigation services.

He is the co-author of “Marco Legal das Startups,” published by Revista dos Tribunais (where he explored the topic of stock options), and “Remuneração Variável como Ferramenta Estratégica,” published by Auddas.

In the litigation arena, he focuses primarily on corporate and contractual disputes involving non-competition clauses, abuse of controlling shareholder rights, minority shareholder violations, enforcement of shareholder agreements, earn-out provisions, and contractual breaches.

In his previous role in the technology sector, he developed and implemented GERPPASS’s litigation management software for companies in the industrial, commercial, public, automotive, and financial sectors.

  • Advisory and litigation legal advice in the labor and social security area, having managed portfolios classified as strategic, totaling around 500 highly relevant processes, with approximately R$ 300 million of liabilities under discussion;
  • Participation in the setup/inauguration of large companies, such as automakers, with staff of at least one thousand employees, technology startups, in addition to collective negotiations, administrative defenses, inquiries and collective actions in the scope of Labor Law;
  • Led team restructuring and draft agreements, avoiding costs with labor disputes;
  • Participation in more than 50 due diligencies involving labor and social security issues;
  • 12 years of experience in the management and control of labor liabilities and deposits and internalization of deposited amounts for more than 10 large companies in the Brazilian and international market, audited annually by Big Four;
  • Acting as a consultant in the corporate reorganization of a financial institution involving R$ 2.1 billion in equity.
