H2bet and Stars Bank

BVA acted as exclusive legal counsel to H2bet, the online betting platform of Grupo H2 and one of the largest gaming operations in Brazil, in an investment transaction carried out with Stars Bank.

Within a context of regulatory maturation and market expansion in Brazil, the transaction reflects the growing interest of investors in companies operating in the fixed-odds betting and online gaming sector and reinforces H2bet’s growth strategy. The investment will contribute to the expansion of its operations and to the consolidation of its presence in a rapidly evolving market in the country.

Felipe Barreto Veiga, partner in the M&A, DCM, Private Equity and Venture Capital practices, led the transaction. The deal was also conducted by Rafael Teixeira, partner in the Corporate, M&A, Private Equity and Venture Capital practices; and Samir Hauache, Capital Markets and Banking Coordinator, with the participation of Edigard Macedo and Enzo Gebrin, both from the Banking and Capital Markets practice, and Lethycia Florencio from the Corporate and M&A practice.
