The Led and Kinea

BVA acted as exclusive legal counsel to The LED in a R$150 million transaction with Kinea.

The company, one of Brazil’s leading providers of digital panel solutions, received a R$150 million investment through the Kinea Private Equity V Master FIP Multiestratégia, a fund managed by Kinea Investimentos. This represents the largest investment ever made in the Brazilian LED panel and in-store media segment and will accelerate the company’s expansion in the retail media space.

The deal, which received coverage in both national and international media, was led by Felipe Barreto Veiga, partner in the M&A, DCM, Private Equity and Venture Capital practices. Rafael Teixeira and Gabriel Abdalla, partners in the Corporate, M&A, Private Equity and Venture Capital practices, co-led the transaction. The team also included Samir Hauache, Banking and Capital Markets Coordinator; Edigard Macedo and Enzo Gebrin, from the Banking and Capital Markets practice; and Lethycia Florencio, from the Corporate and M&A practice.
