Maxuel Almeida has approximately 5 years of experience in Contract and Business Law.
He has a strong background in Corporate and Digital Law, particularly in the areas of personal data protection, digital compliance, IT governance, and cybersecurity. He advises domestic and international clients in the consumer goods, technology, retail, and e-commerce sectors.
His academic journey also includes significant contributions in other legal fields, such as research and publication in academic journals. Notably, he authored “The Human Right to Internet Access in the Face of the COVID-19 Pandemic,” presented at the 19th Brazilian Congress of International Law in 2021, and conducted research on “The International Protection of the Environment,” focusing on the challenges of implementing the UN’s 2030 Agenda. He has also completed extension courses in contract drafting and negotiation, corporate privacy governance, and business-oriented legal practice, all from the OAB/SP School of Law (Escola Superior de Advocacia).
He is currently on secondment, providing legal support in contract drafting and review, corporate documentation, internal policies, and compliance risk management, as well as participating in corporate investigations.
